The treatments are competent and not too expensive. The change area is small and has typical amenities. The first shower in women's change room is very nice. The reading room is a pleasant place to hang out, but can be crowded.Really nice robes, and they give you slippers. No jacuzzi, has sauna. Not particularly beautiful and inspiring, but not unpleasant either.
Had a spa afternoon during our recent 4 day stay and it was one of the highlights of our time there. The spa may appear small but there a lot of treatment rooms on the lower level. The Diva/Dude package is a winner and nice treat. We enjoyed the ammenties and the well appointed changing rooms. As we travel we take the opportunity to enjoy spas and body treatments and Sagestone is definitely one of the nicest we been too. Given the chance we'd go again and highly recommend the Diva/Dude package for an afternoon of relaxation and pampering.
My sister and I were out for a long weekend at the Red Mountain Resort and Spa...knew the first couple days might be rainy so we arranged for massages and pedicure. Pedicures were great...my feet haven't felt this pretty in some time...There was a miscommunication regarding the time of our massage and we were very disappointed since we had a very short time and rarely get to see each other some time if precious but the staff made changes and were able to get us in.. we realize that they didn't have to do this and were very grateful for their assistance. The area where you wait before your treatment, is really nice - comfortable lounge chairs that overlook the beautiful property and mountains...absolutely relaxing. Between the two of us, we had 4 massages and after each one, I felt like a puddle....totally relaxed....
a beautiful and peaceful setting, a room with an ambience of luxury, great hiking, a pool, delicious and healthy food, grounds that were aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained that included little nooks for quiet reflection, a lovely spa with many choices, very friendly staff, hammocks everywhere. It was just lovely.
I've been to this spa numerous times and have received consistently great service. This visit I had a facial, aromatherapy massage, pedicure, and Moroccan Oil hair treatment. All of the technicians were friendly and attentive. The view from the relaxation room is amazing (I think a water feature in this space would be a lovely addition). Definitely a great treat! I'm sure I'll be back during my next trip to Ivins.
As a local who uses this spa, I can attest to the wonderful experiences had here. From the moment they greet you, the care you receive in the spa and salon both, the atmosphere - all of it is top notch and a great value, too. The reading/meditation room looks out over the red rock and pool area and at various times of the day, the rocks change colors. Relaxing!
Having moved here from Alaska, we stayed here a few nights. The associates were very friendly, professional and showed real concern for your reason being there. The weather was hot and that fit us Alaskan transplants just fine. The views were amazing to us.We went for a walk in the dessert and were amazed at the lava rocks. The spa was nice, but I wish we could have shared it together; they separate men and women. The restaurant had a breakfast buffet, nothing special at all. Pretty boring, have had much better.I would stay there again.
My daughter & her husband live across the street from Red Mountain Resort & the spa. My wife & I were visiting them so we decided to have a relaxation day at Sagestone Spa. First, the staff is excellent. Well trained, friendly & very helpful. We did their package called Diva & Dude For The Day. This includes a massage, lunch, pedicure & facial. Priced at $199 it is well worth it as you get access to the facilities too. If you go, ask for Crystal as your masseuse. She's one of the best I've had & I am very hard to please with massage therapists. You will also want Kristen to do your facial. She did both mine & my wife's & she is excellent & the Clarins products they use are outstanding. The only knock on the experience is the food. It's just ok. You would think at a resort that is so highly acclaimed it would be better. But, the entire experience at the spa overshadowed the mediocre food to make the day complete!
I stayed at Red Mountain Spa several years ago and now I regularly use the spa whenever I am in town. My husband always gives me a day at the spa for an anniversary present. Watch their website for packages and make a day of it. Start in morning and walk around the grounds, have lunch in their restaurant, have your treatment (I love the pedicure the best), get in some pool time and then have a wonderful, relaxing shower. It is a perfect day.
My daughter and I recently visited and stayed.a week at the Red Mountain Resort. On the premises and within walking distance is the Sagestone Spa. We were able to book our services without hassle and when we checked in ...we were greeted by a friendly attendant. Now there are a couple different entrances which was a bit confusing but easily navigated . We each had a massage on our first visit, a wrap on our second visit and I went back for a deep tissue message . Each time the staff was warm and receptive. We are not regular spa attendees and so our apprehension wasn't noticed. I would also encourage you ,if you didn't need a spa service to go and relax in the lounge chair area. It is a beautiful setting with a view out the windows of the incredible red rock mountains. There is fresh veggie water, teas for sipping and the usual steam showers and comfy brown robes. There is a small store on the top floor with an assortment of gifts to take home. Our best deal was to gift each other with a 100.00 gift certificate that enabled us to enjoy discounts on services and product with membership in the spa for one year.
