A good 30min walk through the woods and across an impressive but slightly precarious suspension bridge brings you to the Kozjak waterfall. A nice but very cold plunge pool for a dip!
A short and interesting hike from Kobarid, with reconstructed WWI Italian dugout bunkers and caves along the way. It is simply gorgeous! Go see it. The trail is suitable for younger kids and even fit older people.
We loved the kobarid historic hike and especially the waterfall. The first bridge kn the hike was also really wonderful. The hike is not super strenuous but its best to take hiking shoes.
We took a great little hike over the Soca River to get to the falls - relatively easy hike through quiet Lord of the Rings type environment. Not a lot of tourists (at least when we were there).
The fantastic waterfall in the end of magic gorge. Even though the acces is about 30 minutes, from a capm, you must cross a swing bridge and walk via slipper limestone path, the Kozjak slap is the most interesting waterfall I've seen around Soca river
great experience, through the Soca river to end up in the Kozjak Waterfalls. Nice tour of maximum 1h30,suitable for family, friend.
Lovely walk up from the car park (30mins). Car park was 1€ an hour. Not too busy despite being August and had time at the waterfall by ourselves. Went for a quick swim in the pool and it wasn't too cold!! Would have loved to see the canyoners jumping down from the top, but we missed them (all we heard were the splashes and then they walked past!) Brilliant
This is a short hike and well worth it! It's a beautiful stroll along the Soca and then up a tributary. Have faith in the last five minutes of the hike. You'll hike through a stream and over several handmade bridges and scale the edge of a rock cliff but it's all very do-able and you'll be rewarded in the end.
This was our favourite day! We walked from Kobarid to the Slap Kozjak falls and it was so pretty. The Soca river is a beautiful shade of blue and the little tributary you follow to the falls is stunning. Be aware that to get to the falls you need to walk along a narrow wooden walkway above the river with no sides but it's fine - honestly!!
The most beautifull waterfall I have ever seen. An nice and easy 30 minute walk leading us to the waterfall was wonderfull too.
