This place has some excellent shows that offer good value without having to go to the large cities to see like Miami or New York. the works are professionally done and the seating is comfortable. This is the one place around that brings a bit of culture to the Ft Lauderdale area that is so ofter associated with spring break flings and other poorly recieved coments. You should avail yourself of this attraction
Seen Lorna Luft Judy Garlands daughter here,,,,front center great place just like off Broadway,,,,nice clean very upscale according to south FL standards,,,,,,,,,,,,,as they are CA Casual.......loved it cocktails in the halls for intermission....you shouldn't pass it by
We went last night to see justin Hayward and the show was great! Venue has easy to get in and out of and free parking and tons of leg room in the seats. The senior citizens who take the tickets are all super nice and friendly! Lots of bathrooms and very pretty inside. Sound was very good - theatre was a bit chilly for my liking but overall much nicer than the mega- venues and ticket prices were reasonable too.
What a wonderful venue for a concert. Everything about the place is fab. Comfy, roomy seats, great sound, not a bad seat in the house.
Really a great venue to see everything also a wide variety of entertainment at good prices. Parking is available cheap and secure .
I've been to many different types of events here, and it is a great venue. It is small and intimate, yet large enough to to have many types of shows. The sound is usually excellent, and lines of sight are good from any section.
Went last week for a Kenny G concert. Pleasantly surprised . Easy access to seat tons of leg room an easy for patrons to exit seat an get by without anyone getting up. Not a bad seat in the house, great sound System. Super helpful staff. No rip off on drinks like most places. Can't wait to go back .
Older theater that brings in smaller type performances. Unique attractions, that lends itself well to a smaller venue. Easy parking and access. Reasonably priced for live theater and concerts.
We attended a Graham Nash concert and the acoustics were excellent. Seats were comfortable and plenty of other services. Highly recommended.
The Parker is 1,000 seat theater that is in Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale. It was built in 1967 (but always seems older than that to me). It's goal is to bring quality entertainment to Fort Lauderdale and does just that.Recently I saw Cheyenne Jackson here and both the seating and sound were excellent (as was the show). This is just a classy venue with some great offerings. If I was visiting Fort Lauderdale I would check out who is playing here during your stay and see if you can get tickets. It's a gem.
