Very professional staff which guides you through the history of the building, city, country and the times.
I like small, local museums and this is a great one. Get the translation you need and browse through the collection of town artifacts. We especially liked the town meeting room.
Strangely the museums were closed when I tried them but after asking at the town hall, we were given a private tour of the Majster Pavol and Town Hall Museums
Stepping through the entrance is like stepping back 500years. The paintings around the hall only emphasise the history. A few additional guides in German/English would certainly assist and bring the exhibits to life for more tourist. Nevertheless a great place to start the tour of Levoca. A museum pass for about 4Eur will gain you access to the town hall, Master Paul's house (famous wood carver) and the Spis museum (near the post office). If you have made the journey to Levoca, the building and art is worth a look.
we liked exhibition, it brings back memories and melancholy of old times.I liked exhibition of folk dresses and laces.
The old city centre is great to visit, there are traditional markets in summer (July I think). Lovely historical city to spend few hours for sightseeing
Very small city with nice Town Hall and more better church on the hill. Everything was for free and nice but we were there just one hour included the church on Marianska hora.
