Wow wow wow, saw it on Broadway and its just as good in London (and half the price). A thoroughly enjoyable evening, cannot recommend this show enough.

friday 16th jan the weekend I got my last Xmas present from my girlfriend a weekend in the big smoke starting with Jersey boys on the Friday night. Now I love coming to see musicals but always puzzled you have to sit through all you favourite songs not singing or dancing till the end of the show for the last song. Minor gripe over Jersey boys is amazing the cast are fab the songs are cool. Funny in the right places the language is prob a bit rich for younger kids so you've been warned. But if you want a good night out come see the Jersey boys you won't be disappointed

Having been given tickets bought via Travelzoo, we were concerned that our seats were to be near the rear ceiling and up at least 70 steps with poor leg room according to Theatre Monkey. When we enquired about upgrade, seats were available but at double the price plus some; box office guy suggested returning at 4:30 (Sunday matinee is at 5) when spare seats upgrade may be available. This we did and, for just £10 each, we acquired centre stall seats in row P with loads of leg room. Can't actually comment on the Upper Circle then but saw some very unhappy people at very end of front row of the stalls- I would not fancy those seats!The show has a novel presentation with each of the four seasons narrated by a different band member's perspective and the introduction covers apparent discrepancies by acknowledging that each has differing member will have his own memories. Doesn't totally cover songs out of order or fact that resignations from band were years apart but poetic licence is allowed I guess.I did like the band as I grew up but even then too much of Vallee's falsetto voice could grate so pleased that songs were not all just trotted out in full. Big intro to "Can't take my eyes of of you" clearly written for US fans as it is always associated with Andy Williams here and never a hit for Vallee. Various roles taken by supporting cast was slightly confusing but it gives everyone a major part of the show.The wife, not a Four Seasons fan in her youth, passed over these problems and just enjoyed the show as presented and was able to confirm the rave reviews offered by many friends (why so few reviews here then?).

We went to the afternoon show. It was so good i loved all the songs and the voices are amazing! Loved that they showed clips of real footage. The show was different to the other shows I have been to as it is narrated. Would go again.
