There is an upper, middle, and lower falls. Well maintained and the water was very cold!! Great place to hike.
We loved this spot! just a hint to the town, please mark this beautiful waterfall...it's very hard to find...luckily we received great directions but for all travelers that like to discover the area on their own would be almost impossible to find
very beautiful small waterfall...PROBLEM IS it's not marked. make sure you get good directions from someone before you adventure to go see it...well worth it thou
There's so many naturally beautifully sights to see in Vermont that it's hard to rate them as they are all amazing. However, compared to some other places we went on this trip, this was slightly less memorable.
An easy walk down to the falls. Pretty views and fun for the children to climb on the rocks and, apparently, good place to swim on a warmer day.
We only went in the middle fall water, and even with a beautiful mid 80s Sunny day, the water was brutally cold! Must take a dip and very refreshing but scary cold at first. The larger fall is bigger with many more families and a rock to jump from. The falls are just a few steps away from the road
We liked the falls even though they were low because of the lack of rain. There are three levels of the falls. All beautiful. I would go again.
These were nice fall despite the water being low due to little rain. The water was very clear. I can see these being chilly to swim in.
Nice easy short hike. Falls are beautiful. Pay attention when driving to buttermilk falls as it comes up quickly. It was too cold to swim there when I went, but you can swim in a couple of the water holes. Nice easy walk. Takes about and 1 to 2 hours depending on how long you look at the falls. There is 3 of them.
Had a great picnic between the two falls. The scenery is beautiful and the sound of the falls is quite peaceful. Easy to reach with a nice swimming hole/jumping platform from a big flat rock next to the falls!
