We stayed at the Hotel Impala on Collins Avenue. It was close to all of the Designer Stores. Our favourite was DASH. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Lots of Designer stores to choose from and you can walk to it from the Hotel Impala.
My daughter & I were visiting South Beach. We felt very safe on Collins Avenue even in the evening. There were very nice restaurants and we chose to stay in 2 of the hotels on Collins. The area was very clean
Our hotel was on Collins and we felt very safe walking around to Lincoln Ave and to the beach during the day and evening.
You'll find a lot of shops, boutique hotels, and places to find your everyday basic needs along Collins Avenue. Where Ocean Avenue is the quintessential South Beach club, bar fancy shops, and restaurant scene of Miami... just one block in is where you'll find a lot of affordable smaller hotels, neighborhood bars and restaurants and perhaps more importantly, for the traveler, places like Walgreens, CVS and liquor stores... All of these come in handy for the most basic of needs, like sun block, booze, band-aids and did I mention sunblock?!
Collins Avenue in South Beach is a happening place. It flanks the beach, has one restaraunt after another, most wth outdoor seating. There are shops, antique cars, and lots of people watching. Art Deco hotels dot the street and lend their charm to the neighborhood.
Just a drive down Collins both during daylight and again in the evening, will make you want to experience the wonder of unlimited wealth just once in your lifetime!
Like a high street of a small village, Bars, restaurants and shops on both sides of the pedestrian area. Not like a shopping building but an outdoor mall.
Nice shopping Areva - full of Life . This is were you car walk, take a drink stop in Nice stores .Collins Avenue is reallly a place to go
Just a stone throw away from Ocean Drive, it's a great area to explore, shop, and get some food. Many new places opening constantly, so every visit provides new experiences..
Collins Ave offers lots of shopping, people watching & places to eat. It largely in part is a mix of new hotels & low rise older retro looking hotels that have been or are in the midst of renovation. Proximity to the beach is just a block away!
