This was our first trip to The Comedy Store and it was thoroughly enjoyable. We only paid £6 per ticket for the 'King Gong' night and the whole variety of amateur acts, from the excellent to the not-so-excellent, made for a great night. The venue is clean and tidy and all of the staff were great. We will definitely be visiting again soon.
took my parents and the Mrs for a night out at the store. had a great time, proper quality comedians and a world class MC. Food was average but good for a comedy club (its not exactly jamie olivers restaurant is it). Great atmos, it was a really good night. highly recommend
the was 20 or so of us mostly scousers having been to a few of these in Liverpool before I was expecting lost of scouse jokes at this one but it was not the case in fact people from Bolton got the brunt of the stick of the comedians the acts were very funny and was a great night I recommend it to anyone however this was allot bigger than the Liverpool ones and I think smaller is better as more intimate and gives a better atmospheremaybe its just because im used to smaller I look forward to going here again
I bought tickets for my son's birthday. It was a great night out, comedians were all top class and good food. Will be going back as soon as I can
Excellent night ......went on a Thursday and expected it to be quiet but it was a great atmosphere. The whole thing was very well organised. Staff extremely helpful. Comedians great but Compere was brilliant! Highly recommended........
Great night out great Value for Money. The staff are great the food is great only 1 down fall the drinks are too expensive other than that it's great.
Perfect night out, easy access, ticket pick up easy, great seats & fantastic entertainment!!!Would definitely visit again.
First time visiting the comedy store with my boyfriend, such a great night had by all, will definitely be back!
I went to Gong last night (which comes every first Sunday of the month) and as I am a student, it only cost my friends and I a £1. We got there around 6:30 to sit at the tables inside for a drink first but strategically moved towards the theatre entrance just before they opened the doors, to get a good seat. Every time I have been it's been a really good laugh and I highly recommend!
Visited The Comedy Show for the first time on Saturday for a birthday celebration! Was very very funny, and even though we brought the cheaper tickets and didn't have any seat reserved we had a great view! Would recommend to anybody! Only downside is that the drinks are a bit pricey, but that's expected in Deansgate on Saturdays! Another great place in Manchester that is must to visit!
