The water was clean and perfect. There were four lifeguards in sight at all times. It was not too crowded, but I would go early. The undertow was strong, but not terrible. There were bathrooms and a shaded area. I loved this beach.
Great beach area. Facilities, shower, no rocks near shore. Food available. Can be very crowed on weekends. They even have a child play area and covered pavilions.
So we never got to try the food from the stationary food truck. It really sounded good, but can't comment on quality or price. This was lunchtime in mid-week in March, 2015.
Worst beach. Hated it. Crowded, loud, dirty. Cocoa Beach is much nicer. Would never go back. If there were Zero stars that's What I would've rated it.
Location is great, the area is always clean, restrooms there, picnic tables and a shaded area where you can just sit and look at the ocean, as well as steps leading to the beach, very enjoyable.
High tide was coming pretty high but no rowdy crowds that you can find just 20 mins north. Will be coming back.
huge beach with few people... dolphins may accompany you in the morning and surfers may be a spectacular view, when huge waves will prevent you from bathing in the sea
This beach park offers every amenity, it is perfect for family and small corporate events. It has restrooms, shaded picnic tables and pavilions you can rent with grills, a playground, sand volleyball areas and ample beach access. The property is well maintained by the city and has ample parking. Do be aware, however, that the beachfront here can be dangerous at times with rough surf, rocks and occasional shark sighting.
While I'm not a surfer, it looked like the ideal surfing location. Beach and park were clean. Would definitely go back.
Very clean, great beach for family fun (i.e. sun bathing, swimming, surfing, walking, relaxing), plenty of parking with easy access to the beach.
