Prices are good, theaters comfortable and in good repair, staff is very polite, but the mildew/mold in the air makes it really on those with respiratory issues.
This is affordable entertainment. Take the kids, or just go enjoy the movies at a great price. This is a favorite theater in our household for seeing movies that have just passed their prime time release at the more expensive standard theaters in the area, but you want the fun of seeing the movies on a giant screen, with popcorn and soda, easy parking, and friendly atmosphere. They feature at least 6 movies at any one time, good prices on refreshments, and charge for show tickets is $1.50 for most movies. Several showings throughout day and evening. It is close to University Park Mall , restaurants, shopping, and hotels. It is an older place, but it is clean and easy to overlook a little aging given the lower prices. you don't have to break the bank just to go to the movies. What could be better?
The movies are extremely cheap, but the theater is very dirty, dingy, and just sort of gross. There has been atleast 2 times that I've been there and the projector has just randomly shut off in the middle of a movie. Good if you want to see a movie for less than the price of popcorn, though
The only reason to come here is because it's cheap. Service is friendly. I had a nice time here. Some of my friends swear by this place, but you can't beat $1.25 or whatever it is on Wednesdays...
If you like to go to the movies but hate paying the prices, then this is the theater for you! The prices is very inexpensive, 50 cents to about $2, depending on the day you go. The popcorn is higher then some movie houses but, all in all, still a reasonable night out. At times, let's say on dollar Wednesdays, there may only be one person working at taking the tickets and then dishing out the popcorn and candy when the ticket line is down. This can be a little frustrating, especially if you are cutting it close to the start of the show. So, go earlier if you can and if you can't, remember that they usually have about 10 minutes of commercials and previews before the actual feature starts. I have noticed that this summer they have had more people working the counter. Enjoy, and even if the theater is not "top notch", it IS reasonable.
if you liked scottsdale mall movie 6 then this one is about the same as that owned by cinemark its still has somewhat good older movies but the chairs are kinda flimsy.
Ticket prices are great, don't allow cellphones, concession price and quality are compareable to others.
All seats are only $1.50 and tiny sized! I'm a big guy, not fat, big. These seats are TIGHT, I have to slide in from the front and still be uncomfortable.Twice in recent memory the have been some idiots making noise during the movie and management doesn't do anything about it!
The place is dirty and gross. The movie theater is not the best area of town either. Would not recommend at all. Smells too
I have been to this theater twice now and I've enjoyed it both times. You just can't beat the price - $2 per person for a 2D fairly recent movie. It's definitely worth it to wait til a movie is out of the other theaters and see it here. The staff is friendly. Obviously the facilities aren't quite as nice, no stadium seating or anything fancy, but clean and comfortable. It's in a slightly hidden location behind Olive Garden, in the Best Buy shopping center.
