This location has a very professional staff who are well trained and committed to the members and guest who visit here. The facility is clean and well equipped with the latest equipment for exercise and cardio workout.
My Grandson went from being afraid to put his face in the water to actually enjoying the pool and being able to jump in and doggie paddle around and float on his back. Camp was a good choice for a 5 year old
My grandchildren take swim lessons, they are 4 and 2 years old. It is a very good place for them to learn how to swim, it is a nice place for do exercicess for adults.
We have been members of this YMCA for 11 years and love the location, staff, and opportunities for our children with camps and other family related activities. AWESOME facility!!!
Something for everyone from children to senior citizens. Excellent weight room and aerobics activities. Spin bikes for the truly active and fit. Also, personal trainers if yiu widh!

Great facility. Free childcare while parents workout. Clan, well maintained facility. Senior area, teen area, pool, basketball court, lots of fitness classes, wellness center... everything you need in one place.
I have been a member of this YMCA since 1999. I am a wife and mother of 4 sons. My sons have grown up at this YMCA. They have taken swim lessons, played basketball in the gym, lifted weights in the weight room, use the treadmills and eliptical equipment. Our entire family has used this facility for over 14 years, and we love it.They have the top of the line equipment, and they offer a large variety of activities (Aerobics, Zumba, Spin classes, Swimming, water aerobics, gymnastics, etc.) They also have a nursery for small children. They do an excellent job keeping the restrooms, locker rooms, and the entire facility very clean. The employees of the facility are very friendly and helpful. It is located in a really affluent and safe neighborhood of Norcross. You will love it!
been a member since april 2013. The Y I attend is the summitt. I like this Y, its 10 mins from my house. My complaint is both pools are somewhat very gritty. The therapy pool needs to be warmer than 94. When they dont have swimming lessons the items used for therapy should be available, however the door is locked and members cant gain access to them - why not? The dressing rooms are clean. The employees are friendly. The child care hours arent consistent with the Y. I would like to see a steam room at summitt. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. I enjoy the Y in Norcross, much cleaner, have access to therapy equipment anytime, nice steam room, whirlpool is very comfortable, dressings rooms are immaculate. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 10. I go to the Norcross about 1-2 times a month. even though I enjoy Norcross its too far from my home. I will continue to go to the Summitt and enjoy my workouts.
focus is on day care or after school groups and many parts of facility are NOT accessible which is disturbing to paying members. When they opened they promised many things including handball courts and rock wall... did not happen. Instead we have a senior center and a youth center.....lol what a difference. If you like the rooms packed with machines this is for you.... they do have good spinning classes... but my beef they close often and when many can go.... they close off areas for day care or after school who just run around. Need to find a balance.
