This is one of our favourite Golf Courses with a very challenging 1st Hole with water on the left and snakes on the right (not literally but there are Alligators around). It's an interesting course but the anomaly is that every time we play (which is a lot) we breeze through the front 9 but then hit a logjam on the back 9.I don't think it's to do with the Pro Shop putting people out on the back 9 because the front 9 is jammed but it always seems to be this way which is disappointing. The signature hole for us, and many is the 18th.A long dog leg (right to left) Par 5 with water skirting the left hand fairway all the way to the green.Try and avoid the water and there's woods on the right which are virtually impenetrable. And in case this is a walk in the park for you there are Bunkers strategically placed to grab your ball!Good luck.It is in a good location off the I 75 and has quite good restaurant and bar facilities. It always seems friendly and the rates are competitive. It will test your game and your patience but it's worth pitting your Golfing talents and see where you end up!!
After a year of rough (very rough) conditions, the course is coming back nicely! Greens are filling in better each week and the fairways now have grass in them.Good bargain right now.
I live and play at RWCC 20 minutes away but I like to sneak up tp Imperial cause the range is for hitting balls in a lake, And there seems to be a goog breeze. Also the cafiteria is fast and worth the money
Our group my step daughter and her friend shave played this course many times convenient and normally good-- Yesterday was a disaster--Tee time 10:15am very busy as you would expect for a Saturday in March in Florida-The Starter was very slow the tee times were all messed up as they admitted and we got off at 11am-- slow slow slow no other way to put it back -9- in 3+ hours no pace of play no Marshalls to keep the play moving we tried to play the 1st -9- over to speed up the pace (received the OK) but did not work at all--- will not play here again at least on a Saturday in March
Unfortunately this course has obviously gone down hill. Reviews in past were good, but wish I had checked one more time before going. It is not a place we will return to play it. To say there was no green on the greens is not exaggeration. Tee boxes are the same. Being dry is one thing, but this course has not had a drop of TLC for some time. There are too many other option to come back to this one.
We booked through Golf Now based on fairly positive reviews on their site. We had played here some 15+ years ago and enjoyed the course....flat, lots of interesting but not impossible water holes. However, the fairways were mostly hard pan and the greens in poor shape. Perhaps weather or other issues had caused a temporary problem, but if not, I would not want to play there again. They do have 5 tee sets, the forward/forward ones probably for senior women, however, over half were just markers out on the flat fairway [did have a nice grassy base, but not elevation]. If the fairways or greens had been given the same attention as the tee boxes, it might have been a different case. We met a Florida couple for the day and they concurred they would find another place in the future. I would like to play again sometime IF the fairways and greens get back in shape as it is an attractive, potentially fun course.
It's a nice enough course, but it's just not interesting. With so many courses in the area, this one is in our bottom 20%, mostly do to the "boring" factor.
Forty-seven dollars for greens and fairways that only a herd of cows could love. Spend your time and money somewhere else until this place spends the money and acquires the talent to condition a course that commands the fee they charge. And apparently the pro doesn't know much Latin.
Just played, save your money and go elsewhere or hope you get rained out. Every green was in horrbile condition, if you use a penny as a ball marker, odds are that you will never find it again.
This golf course is much much much much played it last year and it was really sad now there much the are and the employees are very friendly my only problem if the golf carts in the parking lotI almost hit a golfer with a cart in the parking lot and at one time it took 10 minutes to park because of all the carts in the parking other than that I will play cart again, I just have to be careful when parking my car
