Stewart Park is a lovely spot to just wander or to sit and relax. Arched bridges lead you through the park. The statue of Big Ben is a fitting tribute to a Canadian legend. A visit to the park gives you a break from the walking or shopping on your visit to Perth. You have options nearby to grab a coffee or cool drink to enjoy in the park. Step out of the rush of the day, sit, relax have an ahhhh moment
Stewart park is a scenic park in downtown Perth. It has a beautiful stream running through it (the Tay River) with a small rapids that is picturesque…Beautiful spot for a picnic, walk or pictures...
A scenic park in a beautiful town. All year round the park offers special events, gardens, space to throw around a ball or frisbee, and lots of seating along the Tay river. The rainbow bridge is especially beautiful
For such a small town we are fortunate to have such a beautiful park. Mrs. Stewart made sure through her will that the park remain free. This is why the music festival is free. All vendors and festivals ( strawberry etc. ) that want to charge have to be next to the park, not in it. A river runs through it, gurgling all the way. In nice weather grab a bite and have a picnic.
Nice with the Tay River winding through the park and the walking bridges crossing it in various locations.
Great photo opportunities! We walked around the cute stores and then took pics by the water. Kids loved the Big Ben statue.
Such a nice park to go and see for a walk, picnic or just too sit and soak up some beautiful tidbits of nature
This park, located in downtown Perth is a site for wedding photos, music concerts, strolling, enjoying the river. It's a good place for a picnic in the summer. The Stewart Park Music Festival each summer is a must. Admission is by donation, the two stages and children's activity areas combined with the vendor's booths nearby make this an enjoyable summer outing.
Didn't see all of it, but was a great place to rest our weary feet beside 'still water'. Liked Big Ben and Ian Miller.
