Fantastic show, brought children from the audiance up on the stage. Small theater with a personal feel. Museum worth the extra $5.00.
We went to the Theater of Magic on Central Ave in Hot Springs, Ark and enjoyed it very much. Admission for Seniors was just Sixteen Dollars each and it was very amusing. The show lasted about two hours and was filled with Magic Tricks and slight of hand. The principle showman was Maxwell Blade and another slight of hand artist filled in. It was full of humor and laughter along with the tricks. We enjoyed it very much.
Awesome show!! Maxwell Blade and staff are the real deal!! Pay the extra to go to the museum...lots of neat stuff in there....
My husband and I were visiting Hot Springs downtown area for the first time. We didn't even know that there is a magic show performance in town. Duck tours guide recommended us that place, so we've decided to check it out. Let me tell, it's not easy to get in. You have book your seats in advance. They get that busy!!! Somehow they were able to get us seats, place was packed. Show was fantastic! Several tricks were breathtaking. I'm planning on bringing my nieces there next time. I highly recommend this place. Just book in advance to guarantee yourself a spot and try to come earlier to get better seats.
I suppose if you never have been out of Hot Springs it would be an OK show but to anyone else not so much...Boring, hokey and dull are the best description I can give
Just left the show. Didn't know what to expect. only one of four to have seen magic sh I w before. Was awesome. Very family oriented. I recommend anyone in the Hot Springs area or within driving distance to go see this show. You won't be sorry.
Very entertaining and fun for the whole family. The magic and music was great! Museum was worth the extra $5 We had a great time and would go again.
This show was most excellent! Maxwell Blade is an amazing performer and very nice guy. If you go to Hot Springs, don't miss his show! Funny, awesome magic tricks, very good employees!
Its $18 a person for the buffet - was it worth it? No... The buffet wasn't bad, but its not worth $18. I would go somewhere else for dinner and come for the show. The show was quite fun. My wife and I enjoyed it. There is not much to do in Hot Springs, so my rating for the show is relative to other places in Hot Springs. Point is, we enjoyed our night. Would we come back to this place? Probably not, but it was a fun evening nonetheless.
The magic was so-so, but Maxwell Blade was really funny. There was lots of audience participation and he did a great job of getting the kids in the audience involved in the show. (Bohemian Rhapsody was hilarious!) There were definitely some sales pitches and a brief "testimony" at the end of the show, but nothing off-putting. We'd go back again.
