The food was ok as far as the meats. Under-seasoned in my opinion. I had to salt almost everything and the vegetables I couldn't even eat. No flavor. The cheesecake was disgusting like it had been cut hours earlier and left to become gummy and chewy on a plate instead of creamy. I can only rate the first half of the show "Tuna does Vegas" because we left at halftime. It was two guys playing several different parts and it just didn't appeal to us. Sad to have spent over 80 bucks to get up and walk out. Wouldn't go again.
Live in Hot Springs but had never visited this show before. My husband and I truly enjoyed our date night and will be back again for future shows :)
Saw Scott Davis, magician/comedian this past week-end - very, very entertaining and a very good magician (could not figure out his tricks)! Loved the Five Star Dinner Theater and would return again!
Had a wonderful time at the Scott Davis magic show. The food was amazing, the staff treated us like family, and the show was top notch. We will defiantly be back the next time we're in Hot Springs.
Great show but a little long. Food was very good. Elvis needs a lesson in stage makeup. So white under lights that it looked like a mask.
Located just south of bath house row, enter this quaint theater in the back of the building. To get best seating call ahead and reserve dinner and show. Buffet had many choices, and was very good. Elvis tribute truly sounded like Elvis, Tony Witt made us feel like family. Ladies, you can expect to get up close and personal, maybe get a scarf and a kiss!
I would probably agree with the reviewer had I saw this particular performance. It sounds honest. What was not explained to the reviewer is that the actor who seemed new at the play was actually just that. He was given the role to fill approximately 10 days prior to the performance. It seems that the actor he replaced in real life, had a massive heart attack just 10 days prior and could not for obvious reasons perform. The new actor under the circumstances did a good job trying to learn the play in short order. It is a very difficult play to do even with seasoned actors. The decision was made to go ahead and perform it, which in retrospect may not have been the right one. The actor who had the heart attack was myself and I want to thank my replacement for all his very hard work taking over on no notice and unforeseen circumstances. Tom Wilkins
Prior to the show a wonderful buffet dinner catered by the Porterhouse Restaurant with something for everyone was provided. The show featuring Tony Witt an award winning Elvis impersonator was presented, and he was "excellent". Looked like Elvis, sang like Elvis, and was personable like Elvis. There's another show tonight and then I understand he'll be back again in September. It was a great way to spend the evening and I highly recommend it. I also am looking forward to attending other shows presented by this wonderful little dinner theatre where every table is a good table.....
Saw Tony Witt. Had a great time. Dinner was good but the show was great! Tony was very personable. Enjoyed talking to him after the show. Theater was a good place, good food, great people.
My husband and I had a great date night at The Five Star Dinner Theatre on Sat. It is an intimate setting to have a romantic dinner and stay at the same place for evening entertainment. We saw a quirky show but we intend on going back again for at least one more holiday show.
