A moving experience . Well done memorial park for those who served. A marine neighbor passed away. Family and friends I think we're really comforted by the ceremony.
This a relatively new cemetery started in 2008. There is a rotunda which is a wonderful tribute. The grounds are meticulous. If you have a chance stop by and say thanks.
Our recently opened national veterans cemetery is truly stunning with its sculptured hills, lakes, and tasteful landscaping. In addition to the man made beauty of the grounds, the just completed multi-million dollar pavilion was constructed with a private donation and is an architectural masterpiece that really sets the entire cemetery off. Unique military art surrounds this beautiful pavilion. Located just five miles east of I-75 on State Road 72, this national cemetery is a must see for Sarasota visitors.
We spent well over 2 hours walking the grounds and the Patriotic Plaza of the Sarasota National Cemetery. We were very moved, it actually brings tears and left a lump in my throat. It is well done and oh so impressive, you'll stand proud!
As a veteran, my wife and I will be interred at a veterans' cemetery. We visited Sarasota National Cemetery and one short walk though the grounds convinced us that this beautiful location will keep our remains.
National cemeteries are the final resting places for men & women who served our country with unmatched valor & dedication." 2014 was an eventful year...attended 2 services here. Beautiful Peaceful Patriotic final resting place. Tours given... call to find out schedule.
As a veteran I am very proud of being a part of such a fine tradition that is continued to be carried out by honoring those who have served.I marvel at the professional design and construction. Breathtaking.
Never rated a cemetery before, but this one is worth writing about. A peaceful place located on Clark Rd about 4 miles east of I-75. Our hero servicemen and their wives are laid to rest in this beautiful, serene setting. Plot and stone plus burial is free to past active service people. If you qualify, make arrangements while you are still kicking.
Wonderful solemn beautifully designed tribute to our fallen. A Navy service was occurring while we visited and taps were played by the honor guard. It was an honor to experience.
A wonderful place for my fathers final resting place. Grounds are well kept. A lot of changes for the better in two years.
