Beautiful scene!his lake is a good ideia for a lazy day enjoyning outdoors with friends or even a boyfriend/girlfriend in Bariloche
Beautiful hiking around the lake and above. A few challenging trails but for the most part they are very doable. Wonderful horseback riding trails and gorgeous clear water. it is a perfect kayaking lake.
rocky beach = not the most comfortable, but the stunning view and clear water are definitely worth it! warmer than other lakes near Bariloche because this one is considerably smaller. easy to access via public bus. If you can't see the bottom, its more than 10meters deep!
The lake is situated a little further away from all the touristy action and therefore it is a lot more quieter. I chose to do horsebackriding near the lake and partly through it, which I found as a very nice way of exploring the surrounding landscape and it was also fun of course and made a really nice picture :)
All the lakes in this area are beautiful. On the weekends when the weather is good, the shores are packed with families enjoying a day out. To get a good parking spot and lakeside location, get there early.
If you are amazed by Nahuel Huapi Lake and the fabulous mountain views surrounding, then Lago Gutierrez will not amaze you at all. As a matter of fact, it disapointed me quite a bit. It is a small place all around, the vies are normal with a small lake and small mountains and I had big difficulties finding a rest room!A word of advise: if you skip it, no one will kill you back home for having missed it!
There was nothing I disliked about this lake. There is a beautiful waterfall here and very serene. Also in this area is a mirador which is a bit steep at the end but well worth the trip. Enjoy.
L.Gutierrez is very large so it has a great variety of views and beaches. One of its best sides, the one where Los Baqueanos is located.
we stopped by the lake on our trip to mount tronador. we had great weather and it was a pretty sight. we would have loved to come back and do some hiking around but we did not have the time
Either drive or take the #50 bus to the lovely Lagos where you can walk the 2km to the campground or continue hiking 5k to Playa Munoz or just the extra 300m to the cascades. Beautiful views over the lake and a lovely way to spend some time in the surrounds of Bariloche
