Great mall, but high-end stores. Nice to window shop & some affordable places. But having Porsches and Bentley's on show in the corridors gives you an idea of the clientele.
If you are nearby and want to shop come here. Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, and Macy's anchor this mall. With almost every store you can think of, and plenty of parking. The after New Year's sales are in effect and the prices are really reduced. To see brick-and-mortar stores packed with people buying stuff with all the opportunities online to shop shows you that there is still the good old fashion way to buy things.
One of the most scale malls I've ever been to. Neimans, Saks, Nordstroms and just about every small designer you've heard of.
This is definitely one of the nicest malls I've ever shopped in. When I lived in NJ, it was worth the drive. You have every upscale anchor store you could want...Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdale's. There is a great selection of small stores. My husband enjoyed the resting areas where he could wait for me while on his computer. There are numerous nice restaurants. It is clean and easy to navigate. What more could you want from a mall?
An exceptional alternative to shopping in NYC. You can get so much more done in less time. Sure it is high end shopping but not snobbish. Coming from Europe for many years, this was a good tip from our son who lives in NJ. WE came by car.Not sure how public transport from NYC would get you their. Actually staying on that side of the river also for the night saves you many $$$$.We will go back next visit for sure. Highly recommended.
We found this mall after looking for something to do while having some time to fill before a flight from Newark. As has already been said there are some shops that are more upmarket but it was still nice to walk around, even if we didn't buy anything (good job we didn't find this at the start of our holiday as I think I may have spent the entire budget in one go). It was easy to get to from our airport hotel and was really quiet when we arrived. Plenty of parking. Would recommend :)
We have been to this Mall once a year for the past few years. The Multi-story carparks are easily accessible and useful for bad weather days.Realtively good range of high end designer clothing, watches and jewellery and homeware goods. Not sure why they need to put a Rolls Royce 2 Door, a Bentley, Porche Cayman and Audi on display in the walkways, as there are enough high end shops and their high prices to impress.Even Macy's here appeared somewhat upmarket, although the high volume of products, sales signage, narrower aisles makes one know that it is a Macy's. Christmas decorations and the Santa House area also stood out as nice and different. Tuesday afternoon today, sees a long queue of parents and children waiting to meet Ssnta.
We took our niece for the Frozen exhibit. It was ok but they need a way to better manage the traffic. We waited 3 hours to enter the palace. It was ok, not impressive. The mall is clean and the stores are nice. Very high end,
its the posh mall of tri state area like bal harbor shops in bal harbour fl all desighners just beautiful and also the cars they have parked in the mall for show are bentleys and rollers audi and just wow beautiful
The Short Hills Mall has been around a long time and has evolved from just a few stores, mainly B. Altman & Co. into one of New Jersey’s premier shopping malls featuring many high end and luxury stores, yet still offers an affordable Macy’s. This fully enclosed mall is a great place to explore on those cold and snowy days.
