Not for us but probably just what the a younger crowd might be looking for-canoe, rafts rentals and live entertainment at night. Old mill converted into a mega put in point for trips on the clear Missouri rivers.

Fantastic location on the Northfork of the White River. Sits beside a wall damn and has an operational water mill. Very good food and well done all around!

My family had a reunion at Dawt Mill. Several of us stayed overnight at the facility and our luncheon was in their conference room. The rooms were very nice and the meal was very good. But the best part was the service. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly.Dawt Mill offers rooms for rent, restaurant facilities, and canoe trips down the North Fork of the White River. It has beautiful scenery and overlooks the river. This is the true Ozarks and worth a 5 hour trip from St. Louis.

I guess this is the place to go for getting into or out of the river. It's obviously set up for parties and entertainment on a big deck overlooking the river. Didn't expect that. We thought we were visiting an old historic local mill. Well, the mill is there, somewhere, hidden inside a room in the middle of the restaurant in the old mill building. Never saw a big wheel being turned by the river. I suspect you might see some of it from the other side of the river. :(We thought we had read that they mill some products that are available for sale on the property. Didn't see anything locally made food products in the shop except for jams and jellies. Maybe we missed it. T-shirts were plentiful, though. Again, :(If you're looking for a party resort, come on in. There are some neat little cabins by the river and what looks like an old inn on the hillside that serves as a hotel. Restaurant, bar and, of course, canoe and tube rental are available.For us, though, overall it was a bit of a disappointment. The property is crowded with buildings, and parked cars, and not much preserved history. We felt like the place was misrepresented as a good stop on a tour of local mills. We found it to be more a "mill-themed resort" than a historic landmark. A third :( .
