Es genial este lugar, tienes todos los libros que quieras, ademas puedes retirar dvds a tu casa, tomar un cafe ahi dentro y llevar a los niños a que jueguen!
Having the benefits of being in a campus community there is a wonderful schedule of events in this modified old building. The collection of books and magazines is very good and the setting is very relaxing.
While the Urbana Library isn't as new as the Champaign Library, I prefer it. They have a larger collection of older books(I like old mysteries), as the Champaign library used to be a lot smaller and didn't have room to keep as many books. Urbana also has the county archives. They added a coffee shop a few years ago and a reading room.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. An ideal American public library.
this is such a wonderful library-- very helpful librarians and resources for all sorts of people. I came here to study but other times I bring a baby to the children's floor, etc.
I enjoy looking over the various books and microfilms they have for research for my family tree. The librarians that work there are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you want to do research for local history this is the place to look!
Needed a place to spend some time on a cold day while in town with a toddler. The children's area is great. Lots of toys in addition to books. A wonderful place.
Muitos livros, diversos títulos e autores. Ambiente propício à concentração e apto a leitura de livros. Para quem gosta, uma verdadeira viagem ao mundo da cultura.
Everything about the library is great - the collections, the archives, the super-friendly staff, the onsite cafe, the events and much more. What is not to be liked?
The free library is awesome and has a vast collection of books and DVDs. On the second floor is the genealogy reference section. There are several computers and computer attached microfilm viewers. They can get in films from Salt Lake. There is a good selection of Illinois and Eastern states reference books. Reference center closes at 5pm-my only wish is that it stayed open a little bit later. Do sign the book every time you go in-that is how they show their need for funding. More visits= more stuff
