This casino was previously located at the Kahneeta Resort and Spa, but moved to the highway a couple years ago. Personally, I don't think it was much of an improvement. It's quite a drive from the resort, and their were fewer people there the day we visited than we ever saw when it was at the resort. The restaurant is small and plain, but the food was quite good and the service was excellent.
When the new casino location opened on Highway 26, the restaurant was high-end with a real chef and a great weekend buffet, and a lot of value. Apparently it didn't do well enough financially. Now there's a decent restaurant with a fairly limited menu and it's spendy. Nothing to write home about.
Ate dinner at the main restaurant with my other half and some friends. My food was very good the only minor issue was that my girlfriend's salad was drenched in dressing. We all liked our meals and ordered dessert which was also good. The prices were quite reasonable which was not what I was expecting.Went into the casino for a bit and it's just a casino. Lots of slots a few tables for blackjack. The building is still very new. We'd return again to eat but maybe just ask for the dressing on the side.
Well they have like 6 card tables. We were there on Saturday night. They were almost no people (not fun)I had the steak at the restaurant it was awful!
Some times you win, sometimes you do not, but the bus ride from Portland takes you thrubeautiful mountain scenery. The buffet lunch includes salmon, shrimp and salad fixings.
Small casino with some good slots.; I lost but my son came out ahead. The food was good and very inexpensive, just a little slow coming out of the kitchen.
Nothing I remember to dislike. Played only slot machines which had a good variety for a small 500 slots casino. New members sign up and play $20 points to get another free play of $20. Double points your first day so only have to play $10 to get your free $20.
A nice small town casino, with the usual games and lots of penny slots. The staff is really nice and helpful. Easy parking. A free bus from Bend with stops along the way.The soup and salad lunch buffet in the Cottonwood restaurant is really great. It is extensive and has wonderful Indian fry bread. The wait staff is so very nice. They have senior prices too.
We visited on a Tuesday which was senior day so we got $10 free play plus the $20 for new player sign up. We played slots and the cigarette smoke was not noticeable. They had a good selection of old and new slots but only around 500. We played on our free money for quite a while as the slots were hitting. All the workers were friendly. They have serve yourself drink stations for coffee and soft drinks. We did not eat there. It was an enjoyable stop.
2nd visit for breakfast and not impressed. Food was great service was very poor. There was only 2 other couples in Resturant 8:30 am We were seated promptly but took about 10 minutes for a server to bring water and approx the same to take order. I have visited many times since opening but will be last for awhile.
