I have been by the Museum and it never appealed. We went planning to show our face and leave. The room was lovely, the pictures very interesting (in a good way) and the food and wine provided was good. I'd go again.
When they have shows etc. they are really nice.A real nice place for family. Small but well taken care of. If you have a short time and you want to do something this is just the ticket.Warwick should be very proud to have them near city hall.next to the library.
I walked in, expecting an "art museum" as the name states. And it was just one small room of terrible paintings. There is a small stage and a bunch of seats. The woman working there told me people come there for the "exhibits" and I was confused and asked when this was, and she told me "right now!". She wasn't real friendly about it either. So i waited around a while, looking at the terrible paintings, and there was no "exhibit" going on. I have no idea what she was talking about. Not helpful at all. I'm glad i didn't have to pay for that.
I would not call it terrible, but this is literally as others have mentioned 1 big room of art. I went over the weekend and there was a show of local artists from the Southern New England region but all artwork was available for sale. This should be called an ART GALLERY/Studio not an Art Museum.
