Had a great time canoeing with my family. We parked our car and they took us to the starting point with a van. The river was nice and easy, good for beginners. We did the 12 mile trip and stopped a few times to eat lunch and take a breather. It took us about 5 hours. If you have smaller kids, then you probably want to do the 6 mile. The trip ended right at our car and at the registration office so there were no hassles when leaving.
