Very Gorgeous Manor nestled away in the park. Didn't know if they did tours of the Manor I was informed they held events there such as weddings and the like but it would be nice if they allowed tours. was sitting in the back and it looked like there were broken windows, what a pity if someone ruined them purposely.
I've lived in Windsor my whole life and have gone to highschool literally one block away. This is one of Windsor's best attractions if you are into history. This might be coupled with hiram walkers tour as well since they are linked. Just don't expect the time of your life.
Enclosed by a sturdy stone and wrought-iron fence, with impressive entrance gates, Willistead Manor Park is a lovely and relaxing spot in the heart of Olde Walkerville. The spacious grounds feature clumps of mature trees, winding pathways, and park benches upon which to relax. The park includes an accessible washroom and a small playground area. The centrepiece of the park is the magnificent manor house. Unfortunately, it is open only limited hours for public tours, listed as summer hours of 2-4 pm on Mondays and 7-9 pm on Wednesdays. It's a shame that such a treasure is not available to the general public on a wider basis.
Just held my daughter's wedding at this historical gem. Ceremony outdoors in the gardens by the fountain, dinner in the upstairs dining room, and reception all throughout. A very cozy, intimate and elegant gathering for a smaller wedding (100 guests). A wonderful time was had by all. Staff and hosts all take such pride in this treasure. Christmas tours are breathtaking <3
We attended a wedding here and it was out of this world. The setting was perfect and it was a beautiful day in May with the sun shining down upon our shoulders. The organisers were very helpful and the food served excellent. Highly recommended for those looking for a traditional English experience.

I took a tour of Willistead Manor, and it is amazing. The detail work that went into making that house. My fiancee and I even went to a Halloween party fund raiser that they had last year. If you get a chance to tour it, you should.
The Willistead Manor is worth seeing if you get the chance, especially at Christmas time when all of the rooms are decorated. A gorgeous place for a wedding.
We have had the pleasure of looking forward to Walkerville Manor at Christmas time.Every room is beautifully decorated with bows, ribbons, garland and baubles. Each room has a Christmas tree decorated with some unusual items along with glitter. The ladies do a excellent job with themes and are there to tell a story or answer any questions.Going room to room brings such joy and excitement of Christmas. If you are lucky you may hear the music of the bells. After the tour we always have time to walk to the gift shop to purchase homemade trinkets.Sit and enjoy a sugar cookie and a cup of hot apple cider.Yummy
Good menu and great service although my entree had a touch to much salt taste for "my" liking I truly enjoyed it and ingredients were seemed fresh and it was different than the normal fair. Only fear of my review is I "think" this is the right place that uses local ingredients--I will double check.
