I saw a sign on the road that said Maple Syrup and I just followed the signs and found the best syrup that I tried in years. I bought so many different kinds. They make maple syrup just for cooking too.
Great place for kids to visit. They take them through the process of making Great Canadian Maple Syrup. Great outing for the whole family.
Nice outdoor nature trails and a small maple syrup demonstration. Cost for 2 adults was approximately $20.00. I would like to see the distance marked on the trails so you know how far Each loop is. Several of the trails were closed as well.We saw a trail with stairs to an outlook over the river on the map in the centre. The staff didn't know anything about it? We found the trail. It was closed but you could still walk the trail to the river. Nice. We also found a section with 2 owls, an eagle and a falcon. Not well marked since we were the only ones there. Not even a single staff member there either. Odd....
beautiful spot for a wedding. Catering people need to scrub their hands after leaving bathrooms. Observed two different staff forget this important step when serving guests.
A natural amphitheater for the ceremony under a bower of trees. We enjoyed the rustic indoor space to dine with our 140 guests
In early spring you can follow the "maple trail" which leads around the park to show how maple trees are tapped fro sap and then how the sap is turned into maple syrup, the old fashioned way. A nice walk through the forest.
We lucked out with the weather and had an amazing day on site. The photos turned out amazing and the venue was perfect for an intimate wedding. The outdoors gazebo was well decorated with lights and provided a very romantic atmosphere. The s'mores dessert option was amazing and nice to stay warm near a firepit.
it is nice to see hthat Ontario is aworld leader inteaching the wise use of our natural resources by wise use and conservation .
I like hiking in the vast forest. There 's lots of open spaces. I've also been to the kite festival, a fun event.
A good place to hike and learn about Maple Syrup. Fun outing towards the end of winter beginning of spring. They also have fun programs in the summer. We like going there to walk on the trails.
