Set on the point that joins the river and the ocean, Dubois Park is a great place for a picnic, a stroll or simply pulling up a chair to relax. It is nicely landscaped up to the water's edge and filled with picnic tables and grilles. There are bathroom facilities as well as a spacious parking lot. Good place to watch the sun rise up from the Atlantic. Open to residents and visitors alike at no charge. .
Fishing, swimming, picnicking, fireplaces, tables, showers, restrooms, and all in a naturally beautiful, tree shaded spot along the Jupiter Inlet. Shallow waters in a protected lagoon provide wading and swimming for the younger members of the family.
Dubois, together with Jupiter inlet park are a great family outdoor experience. When I was a kid you could tour the Dubois home but I think it is not now usually open. The natural beauty allows for many water based experiences and there is fishing along the inlet. It can get crowded as space is limited.
We have been there quite a few times. Free entry and parking. The view of the Lighthouse and inlet is breathtaking, especially at sunsets.
Great place to go and relax and cook on grills that are scattered through park with picnic tables or relaxing by the water
Dubois park is a perfect location to have a picnik, talk a walk, sit down and watch boats going through the inlet!
Unreal, how a beautiful place turned into a breeding ground for the garbage that settles there. All you want to do is sit and enjoy the day and beauty of the inlet and it's absolutely perfect for kids, especially 18 MONTHS, but the 2 legged animal's don't take any initiative to control, or handle their offspring. Pig's are better to sit on the beach with. If they could clean up the beach and charge a fee it would leave the garbage out.
I swear this park is always popping up in the 6 o'clock news off and on it seems since the beginning of last year (2014) for high bacterial levels in the water. Signs are constantly posted NO SWIMMING. So, I wouldn't go in the water until you are sure it's safe...or at least don't get any water up your nose or anything! Other than that, have a great time.
Fishing, wading, swimming, biking, beach, boats, picnicking, and a fabulous lighthouse across the way. We have seen manatees in their natural habitat here. What a gorgeous place.
Bring your snorkels. Bring your buckets. Fun for our family. We went on a weekday so no lifeguards. Two different swimming areas. One a sandy haven near a fabulous playground and shower. The other a guarded area on the waterway. Lots of snow birds enjoying the beach.
