Friendly, professional service. Technician took her time. Her focus was on me and provided a nice hand, foot and leg massage.
Three of my family members just went to Bernards to have their hair done for my son's wedding. One of them was my 92-year old. When Joseph finished with her, she looked beautiful! My sister and daughter also looked beautiful as well. Highly recommend.
I purchased a Groupon for a 1-hour facial with eye treatment, and then went for the $20 "upgrade" when I got there that included a "personalized eye treatment" and something about extra care given to the arms, legs and feet. Well, the facial lasted about 40 minutes, and never once did she touch my eye area except to lay a wet paper towel there. The "foot treatment" consisted of a plastic bag and a heated slipper on each foot - no lotion, no nothing. The worst part was when she suddenly stopped everything and just sat there. I have heated mittens on my hands and feet, heat is coming up from the table, I can't see anything, and she's sitting next to me just breathing for a full 5 minutes...no explanation...just as I was about to ask what we were doing (naptime?) she started to "massage" my shoulders. I don't believe she has basic anatomy knowledge, and my forearms are still sore from her repeated thumb presses there. My skin didn't look any different today - no glow, no improvement - I'll never go back.
I received gift cards for Spa Finder, and Bernard's Day Spa participates in that program. So, I decided to schedule a manicure and pedicure. I was warmly greeted, taken exactly at my scheduled time by Thao. I was offered a beverage by the receptionist, by Thao and by another technician during the time I was there - about 90 minutes total. I found the place to be very clean. I thought it was pricey ($17 regular manicure and $45 pedicure) but I was able to redeem the gift card with no problem. I would go back as a treat.
They charge quite a bit for a haircut; but you will get a great haircut. All the hairdressers seem like pros; no one is just out of beauty school here. I would go there more often if the prices were lower. Think the Cherry Hill location is much better than the Marlton location.
I have been in this place many years ago // had very average service ......came back due to busy schedule and what a confirmation ////overpriced and very unqualified service , please dont make mish mash on my head and charge 300 $ /i dont mind paying for a happy end on my head!!! but skim of colors //no no/// don't pay for this !!anyone who ever had a good hair color and understand the outcome /this place is not the one ,looks like for the cost there reviews are very similar ////pooor ,very poor ...sorry wish could come back and be satisfied but not this place ever again 11
They do a great job at this salon, and I've always been happy with my hair when I get it done here. However, the receptionists are so unbelievably rude and make you feel very uncomfortable.
I have my hair done here for many years. I use the same talented stylist. Deena and the colorist I see on occasion is Diane. I must be happy with the place I have been going there for at least 20 years.
Worst unprofessional spa I have ever schedule at. I was given a 7 pm appointment and I was about 2-5 minutes away from the sap when I was told that my message was cancel because my therapist went home. This was my very first time there-- did not request any particular therapist so any therapist could have done my message. They claimed they call my cell to cancel me but lied because they never call . By the way this was my birthday gift because it was B-day. They ruined my pampered day for my Birthday. I paid for a package: message and manicure/pedicure but they offer the manicure /pedicure not the message.I will never go there or refer anyone: unprofessional customers service ......
I was given a gift Groupon for a facial and mani-pedi, which I used recently. I then saw a Groupon for the same services and bought it, ( the first having been a gift). I was refused services as I 'was not a new client' and ' you can't use it for 6 months.'; The offer expires in 3 months. I explained that the one I used was a gift and it didn't seem to matter. I was able to get my money back from Groupon, thank you, but will probably never go to this spa for any services due to poor customer services. In their favor the services, the services I did receive were lovely. I especially liked my mani-pedi. The front desk was another thing. I advise against giving this as a gift unless you know the person has not been to the salon before.
