Loved the boardwalk and the beauty of the Currituck Sound from it...everyone must visit it at least once...can't believe how much actual wood was used in building this boardwalk...we visit the children playground as well....lovely, lovely, serene place to go! Must Do!
Nice little walk along the boardwalk during Christmas week. No one was around during a sunny afternoon stroll on Christmas Day. However, there was really no wildlife to see either, excepting a few Canadian geese.
I stopped my car on the way to corolla at a small shopping complex in duck town. I was not aware that there is a boardwalk there, as soon i see i felt like i can spend some relaxing time here. finished quick shopping and got a coffee and sat there on the bench viewing birds flying.. it is very relaxing ..
Love walking here. You can stop for some shopping or a bite to eat. Or you can just enjoy the great sunset or people watching!
Nice shopping and pretty sunset. Stores, most of which can be found elsewhere, are close together for easy shopping. Restaurants looked good but we didn't try one. Have a donut!
This Boardwalk is beautiful. The trails and the playground are a great place to burn some energy. The gazebo is a great place to have a meal or just relax.
Quaint shops selling a broad range of quality items, I loved the local themed Christmas Tree decorations and the people were really friendly
We had a great time walking to boardwalk. We saw so many birds and the breeze from the sound was fantastic. Duck did a great job creating that boardwalk.
Adding the boardwalk overlooking the sound was a brilliant way to add shops and restaurants without detracting from the natural area too much. Nice way to have a stroll, shop or sight see. Benches are available for those that just want to sit. Duck did well adding the boardwalk.
Early morning walk was nice. Got to see the amphitheatre and the well-manicured landscaping. Views of the sound were pretty. Liked the way the boardwalk curved and had lookouts. Easy access to shops.
