OMG this place was amazing. I've wanted to do a dolphin swim since I was a little girl and this definitely met and exceeded my expectations. The staff was great- so friendly and knowledgable; from the front desk, to the instructors. We did the structured swimming which was fantastic! Got to kiss dolphins and swim with them....so cool! We will definitely be back
What an amazing way to meet a dolphin or two or more! Our kids (ages 13 & 15) thoroughly enjoyed this experience and the amazing photos taken by a professional photographer onsite, truly captured the utter joy on their faces! Trainer Emily was energetic and knowlegable and spent some quality time with the group prior to getting in the water to explain how to make the most out of the experience- belly rubs, kisses (on lips or cheeks), supermans, dorsal swims and more. Our son fell in love with "Isaac", the baby (dolphin) in the group and can't wait to swim with him again, even if he has to wait a couple of years to do it.
A highlight for my 12 year old son! He can't stop talking about the experience. We had as super handler and the dolphin experience was amazing. Well worth it.
My daughter and I were mesmerized by the dolphins. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Other than wishing for more time in the water with the dolphins, it was a great experience.
I did the trainer for a day program and absolutely loved the entire day. This wasn't my first experience with dolphins but this was by far the best. My trainer was Taylor D. and she was incredible. I learned so much and had so much fun. Expensive, yes but worth it.
Water in Feb was 56. They provide web suits. Price is on high side but you get 30+ mins with Dolphins- petting-pushing you, lots of interaction. You're in a caged pen off a canal. You get a 10 minute educational overview. They take pretty good pix which are extra.
My 10 year old daughter and I did the structured swim at the end of Feb. We were fine without wetsuits. We were the only other people at oceanside other than the other couple who did the experience with us (not with our group). We were asked who wanted to go first and we let them. I was happy my daughter could watch their experience up close so she knew what was going to happen next. We were given an educational explanation about dolphins, where we learned very interesting information. We enjoyed that part too. Then we were given life jackets and went down to the platform. The facility is smaller, so my husband was able to watch from a close location and take pictures from the side. However, he couldn't come down to the platform, so couldn't get any of those amazing close up pictures that the photographer did. He did video and we bought the pictures from them. From everyone I've ever talked to, they thought it was crazy expensive, but a year later wished they had bought the pictures. "If you're going to pay that much to do it, you might as well spend the extra to have the amazing memory in photos." We paid $210 each for the swim and $89 for the photos of both of us. We held the dolphins, pet them on belly and top, kissed numerous times, did the double dolphin pull, the superman and push on our back. We saw tons of jumps, held the pole for them to jump over, had a water fight, etc. It was short when watching the other couple, but when in the water, it felt long enough! Also, glad my daughter wasn't any younger, as it was hard to tread water (even in the life jacket) yet stay still enough to not be giving any underwater commands to the dolphins, or get into the right spot and hold your body just right for the next dolphin push, etc. It was amazing! We also visited DRC, which I would recommend in Marthon as well!
We visited on 13th March with 2 young children. Was very expensive roughly 600 dollars for the family, but we all had a fab time. The trainer Kim was very knowledgable and so we learned a lot of dolphin facts whilst being submerged in the water with them. You do get up close and personal with the Dolphins and at the end we had some great photos that will last a lifetime. It's a one off but worth it.
we stoped in to investigate...the staff was very helpful and allowed us to watch a class swin with the dolphins. We didn't have time to engage in the swim, but would return again.
Wonderful visit with Uno the Sea Lion and swam with the Dolphins. Trainers clearly really care for the animals.
