We stopped at this park to visit friends who live in Rock Hill. We were on our way to Myrtle Beach. It was a great stop over. It rained much of the time we were there so we did not get to explore the park as much as we normally would. We found it to be clean, convenient and just what we needed.
We stay at this park several times each year. It is convenient to home, and a great place to just "get-a-way for the weekend, or sometimes even just overnight. We are always treated great, and the facility is first rate. There are many things to do, especially when we take our grand kids for the camping weekend. The sites are always in good shape and repair, never had any problems here. One weekend we had the grand kids with us, and it just poured, all night and expected all day. They allowed us to leave with a nights credit towards our next visit. Try getting that somewhere else!!
This is not the ocean but it will do, this place have a Beach boat dock, picnic area, grills, RV arena. Not open all night
I grew up coming here with my family. This park offers a wonderful view of the lake and would be a nice place to start a day trip on the water. However, there is really nothing to do at this park. There weren't any trails to walk on, and the only things this park consists of are a camping loop, a huge parking lot, a couple of picnic shelters, and bathrooms. If you are just coming for lunch, make sure to come during their season where they do not charge an entry fee. I find it a bit ridiculous that they want you to pay to visit this park, even if you aren't planning to camp or take a boat out. If they offered things to do that would keep you there more than an hour or so, I would understand. But there's nothing really to keep you interested. There are so many other great parks in the York County area, and this one is nothing special.
The setting is beautiful on the lake shore, and the facilities are good. Clean camp sites, well maintained shower and toilet facilities, and easy access. A great place to camp and relax.
Our first visit to your park. Park Ranger was very courteous and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there. The grounds and buildings are well maintained. Will return again in the future.
always have a great time when we get here , park is clean sites are very nice , staff is always helpful , we love this campground and anyone who tries it will to !!!
everything was great. Only thing is if you don't own a boat, not much to do there. The swimming is limited and the bank fishing is non existent.
Ebenezer Park is our favorite place to camp in our area. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They are eager to help, and answer any questions. I love the new reservation process. In the past, during a holiday weekend, we would have to get down there, and pay for a couple extra days just to get a spot. Since implementing the reservations, we can now reserve, and don't waste time and money paying for days we aren't able to camp. There are plenty of amenities, and we recommend this campground to all of our friends and family.
We camped in our travel trailer in August. Since our son and his family lived nearby, it was. Perfect place to enjoy camping. The playground was overlooking the water. There were two boat ramps, perfect for our portabote. We had a site in the shade and flat for playing croquet. Unfortunately we could not swim in the lake, pollution or some such. We threw back any fish we caught. A nice campground to walk too, with a seperate area for group tents.
