Can't image how anyone finds this place appealing -- loud offensive music, and the food is not even marginal. Many other good restaurants to choose from.
My girlfriend and I went here last night (Saturday) around 8 pm for dinner. We were told there was a 20 min wait for a table. We walked around the bar and looked for a couple bar stools. All of them were full and many of them had been put away because of the band that was to play later. We wanted to eat and i asked the bouncers if they could provide a couple of chairs at the bar because we wanted to eat and not stand. We were told no that they took chairs away for when the band starts. LAME! Both rooms off to the side were "reserved" for private party. I have been here before and they've always had chairs around the entire bar. I'm not sure when this changed. Also there is not a very big dining area in here. Approx 25 minutes later we did get a table. We were seated and waited another 20 min for a server to come by. We ordered and we got our food and no one ever came back to check on us. We needed more katchup and drinks. We didnt bother eating all our food because the service was CRAP. We were done eating and I had to flag down the server to ask for our tab and for to go boxes. I had a turkey bacon burger which was fair at best. I highly doubt I will go here again due to the crappy service and lack of chairs/seating around the bar.
OK, so I was in there early before the band started. I just wanted food and something to drink. The staff were all friendly and that's what the 3 points are for. I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. the burger just taisted burned and the fries were hard. I left them and just couldn't get the burger down. Also, I sat in a booth and felt like a small child. The seat was so low making the table top cime up to my chest. Not for me.
I could not write on anything special for Toby Keith's. We went their as a group for our business get together. The service was poor. The place was huge and not very well attended. The quality of the food was less than mediocre. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because I had was riding was someone else, otherwise I would have left much earlier.
They managed to screw up nachos - cold cheese, awful everything else. The atmosphere is ok if you are into country western, but go eat elsewhere at the west end.
We went as a group of seven for my son's birthday. The food was ok, the drinks were on the pricey side but the biggest disappointment was the lack of atmosphere. I booked Toby Keith's because I thought it would be fun and loud.... Wrong! The music was so low even a lip reader would have problems knowing what Toby was singing on the big screen! Wouldn't rush back, Margaritaville is a far better option on all counts.
Very loud bar, live band, $5 cover charge to enter, waitress was kind of ditsy. Inside was so loud because of band, so we sat outside. Ordered drinks, and didn't get what we ordered. Took waitress three requests to fix drink before she finally brought right drink. Food was bland and cold by the time we received it...we were so hungry, we decided not to complain, eat and got the heck out of there to go visit a bar next door. Thought it would be a fun bar because we are Toby Keith fans, not so much. Keep walking on to next bar/grill.
I was there a little earlier in the evening so I can't comment on the entertainment. But, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very good. I was impressed by the menu selection, and went with the Mahi Mahi. I wasn't disappointed at all. I would go again. Maybe a little later next time to enjoy the entertainment as well.
We had to ask to have a waitress take a order, waited 30 min for food. She never asked us how food was or didnt refill beverages. We had to aske for our bill and she had attitude...very poor service!
The food was excellent an they had a stage and Toby Keith is talented and it is a country and western bar in Saint Louis Pak , Mn
