Just found this cute garden by chance, during a walk after Christmas day in a local restaurant. Free entrance, lovely place and looks like a nice coffee shop inside (it was closed yesterday as it was christmas day)
This is a fab place to meet a friend for coffee, there is a great cafe and a gallery displaying local art for sale and a huge tapestry celebrating Sunbury. Don't miss it!
what a lovely place to vist.the garden is very well kept and has many beautiful plants and trees.it is nice and peaceful walking around and the sound of the birds in the trees added to the atmosphere
A little oasis 2 minutes from the river in Sunbury on Thames. There soups are homemade and change daily, spiced parsnip last I went. Coffee is good, staff helpful. The only downside - its small and we often can't get a table for a quick lunch. The walled garden is lovely anytime of year and the tapestry really represents Sunbury on Thames to a 'T'.
Garden has a collection of clematis and a formal lay-out. Well worth a visit to wander round and spend a few quiet minutes. Gates lead onto Sunbury park popular with dog walkers.Only downside coffee cups very shallow so almost certain to spill.... Cakes etc very good
Have driven past hundreds of times but never visited until I had a baby and heard about the free music on offer! Will be a regular visitor now. We have seen a brass band and a choir there and it was great to sit on the grass and listen with the little one to the live music in the lovely sunshine and surroundings. The cafe is nice for a scone or cake and a drink and the place is just lovely and tranquil, even with the music and excited toddler! Car park is small, most is residents only parking, first hour for free I think.
This little garden is such a treat at any time of the year. The tea shop serves great cake. I love coming here with my family.
Beautiful gardens and a lovely cafe that serves amazing cakes! Must see the tapestry in the art gallery too, especially if you are local to the area.
During the summer months they have a selection of live music in the garden, including Big Band and Jazz. Great on a warm summer day. The provide chairs and there are benches but many people bring their own chairs.
This garden is a little haven away from all the noise and chaos of modern life. It is beautiful laid out and very well kept. There are plenty of seats to just sit and enjoy the surroundings. Very quiet and even a small café on the side.
