Perfect thing for the SNL stars to do some comedy on.Go comedy! I also watch Tonight Show! But I sometimes switch to Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Show during commercial breaks.Levity Live Comedy Club is awesome!
This place is just terrific. Really great comedy all three comedians were just top shelf. The food wasn't bad either and reasonable. Imagine a beer just $5 at a comedy club. Just buy two items and your good to go no pressure and did I mention good service too. Get there an hour early for the best seats but really all the seats are pretty decent. The only downside is trying to park on a weekend in the Target Parking lot. Yikes Good Luck. Better to park some other place and take a little walk. There is indoor parking in bad weather.
I have had the pleasure of going to Levity Live a number of times this year. I enjoy it thoroughly most of the time. The meal with a show is a great addition to entertainment in Rockland. So, on my birthday, I chose this venue to see a show. I won't name the comedian because I don't want to give him any more attention. The show was filthy. The comedian was vulgar. The humor was tasteless. I wanted to leave but felt it likely that I would be heckled all the way to the door. It is my hope that the managers of Levity Live consider who they bring on to the stage with more thought. He had some decent credits but his act has clearly gone down hill. I have seen a number of truly great comedians there and have laughed until my sides hurt. Unfortunately, on that evening, the comedian ruined the night for me. The other woman at my table barely cracked a smile either. What a shame that this was the so called talent they booked for several nights in October. I hope to go back, but frankly am gun shy after this stomach turning evening.
Although pretty pricey and the seating arrangements are a bit strange and uncomfortable - we really love this spot. This was our third visit. There is a two item minimum per person and the food & drinks are above average price. The best bang for your buck is a bottle of wine which covers 4 items for about $30.
Good comedians, decent service, the place get pretty cramped when they have top names on stage. The food was pretty much bar food, edible but nothing to write home about.
Don't let the mall location fool you, this is a great comedy club. Rivals anything you would see in Manhattan, but with such a great local location. Acts are pretty much the same that you would see at a more well known venue in NYC. The theatre was huge and well appointed with ample seating. The food selection is a little limited, but what you get is very good. Drinks are made well and served quickly. The best part again is that it is so local to the area and saves a trip. And if you want to eat something or hangout elsewhere-there are plenty of choices that you could walk to on the 4th floor. Well worth a visit.
Levity Live is a nice night out when you don't want to travel to NYC for comedy. Prices were what I would expect. 2 item minimum per person is what I expected too comparing to other venues. Ticket prices were reasonable. Definitely worth a trip again!
This place is pretty cool and a good addition to Rockland County. The seating is comfortable and ample. Views to the stage are clear and unobstructed. Clean bathrooms. Decent service. Mediocre food menu but it will do in a pinch. The entertainment will vary depending on your tastes and who is there but the venue itself is fun. Something different without going into the city.
Went to Levity Live in West Nyack, NY. This was our first time and we intend to go there again. The staff is very professional and the the service is exceptional. The food is simple but very good. Lighting, sound, atmosphere all come together to provide a great night out. I would highly recommend it.Ken100
Got tickets for a Friday night show for this great little club. We had thought it was in Nyack itself and were pleasantly surprised that it was in the Palisade Mall. You'd never realize from looking at the storefront in the mall that this cute club was sitting right there. The staff was lovely - accommodating and helpful when we had to change the time for our tickets. The food was fine for an evening club. Pretty basic, but we were going for the comedy anyway. There's a two item minimum which can be fulfilled with food or drinks, which was perfect. The club is large enough yet small enough that you really get the sense of being out. There were two short opening acts, which were very good, and the main excellent. We will definitely be going back!
