I called 2 days before I wanted to play to see if I could get an early tee time. Although I couldn't get a time, they said to come in and they would get me out on the course maybe with another group. There had been rain the day and night before the morning I played. I went earlier than the time they said to come out, about 7:45 and was the only one there to play. Played by myself and went around in just under 3 hours taking my time. As more people came to play I was so far ahead, I didn't have to worry about taking my time. The staff from the pro shop to the starter were very friendly. There is a club drop off area where someone will take your clubs and put them on the cart. At the end of the round they will wipe off your clubs and take them to your vehicle.Although the course was wet and cart path only, there were very few places that had standing water where you might need to move your ball. The course is easy to follow as the cart path takes you from hole to hole. Most fairways provide a wide open area for hitting your tee shot as long as you don't try to play too close to the water hazards. The greens were the most challenging part of the course, for me, as there are several breaks and up and down hill putts. On the other hand the first cuts around the green are easy to putt through.Played for $55 plus tax which was a special rate for staying at Vacation Village.Only played once (periods of rain the week we were here), but would definitely play here again.
My husband golfed here a few times. He loved the grounds. We also ate at the restaurant. The food was wonderful. Will definitely visit again.
The personnel at this course are horrible. Very rude, not friendly and the course if very poor condition. The personnel at this course are horrible. Very rude, not friendly and the course if very poor condition.
We played golf and went for a drink and dinner expecting the good food we had last April, which was the last time we were there. Well the nice waitress brings us a pocket sizemenu, telling us that the special for that particular day was not available....So we chosea turkey club, about the only thing that sounded like it could be eaten, not much youcan do wrong with a club......Think again! The fries were half done and cold, so was allthe food in the plate.....The only thing decent about the place was the waitress who wasextremely polite and efficient. This is the last time we eat there. Too bad, we are atthe club often but we will drive elsewhere to have dinner.
We ate here for lunch as part of a timeshare sales pitch. The food while plentiful was a bit under what I expected for a country club. It was cheap-ish and not very flavorful.
Paid $75 for a round here today (11th. March 2015) including 70 balls for a 5 hour round. Driving Range is the worst I have ever seen ..... no distance markers, target posts over the horizon so you could not see the area around their bases so no idea how close each shot was, a lake within wedge distance with floating targets again with no distance markers, very cheap 1 piece balls with no feel nor distance differentiation between a 7 iron and a driver. The course itself is a very nice layout which is spoilt by long Bermuda grass just off the fairways in which you can easily loose a ball, the greens seem to pick up shoe spike marks very easily and are bumpy so very difficult to putt on. No distance markers were evident on the fairways and the Tees did not seem to have the normal fixed markers making it difficult to judge true distances on par s3. The staff were a mixed bunch.....Some very helpful and others not so.Plantation Preserve is a much better maintained course for the same $ price where all the staff were very friendly. This is just not a course for serious golfers in its present condition which is a great shame because it could so easily be an excellent course.
Always took just weekend trips away to stay here. Always a good value and if Florida resident you get a great deal (I think about $99/night, which for this property is great!) Always great service.
This golf course is awesome. It moves a tad slow once in awhile, but for the most part, it is an easy 4 hour round. The course is challenging enough to keep you on your toes. I guarantee you'll lose at least one ball, but not so brutally challenging that you want to break your clubs. The clubhouse staff is quick, efficient and professional. The restaurant has great specials, great prices and great service. I would highly recommend playing this course when in Weston.
My husband and I stay here annually and have never been disappointed with the service or rooms. The breakfast buffet is awesome and the drinks at the bar are good. Our only complaint is that over the years the rates which now includes a ridiculous mandatory $16.95 "resort fee" is pricey.
It is not a 4 star hotel. I stayed there for 5 nights . Everything is dirty.Room service was terrible. NO security. I didn't feel secure.
